The planning stages of the Cleveland Private Hospital are well advanced and incorporate forward thinking for the newest technology in medical and surgical therapy. The future needs of our community are already anticipated and planned for with a staged development that will continue to provide for the medical needs of the local community. The Cleveland Private Hospital will form part of a broader medical precinct that will incorporate General Practice, Specialist care, allied health and a wide variety of assisted accommodation as well as onsite childcare.

The Cleveland Private Hospital will offer services that may include:

  • Day treatment facilities
  • On-site medical consulting suites including dedicated car parking for specialties such as Cardiology, Orthopaedic Surgery, ENT, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Urology, Vascular and Maxillofacial and Plastic Surgery
  • Comprehensive imaging and diagnostic services

Specialists

Specialists

The Cleveland Private Hospital and Hub 68 Precinct will cater for a wide variety of specialists to support existing need future growth within the local and broader community.

Our goal of extending local capacity for medical and surgical services with inpatient, day surgery and angiography facilities is incomplete without a team of dedicated specialists.

Cleveland Private Hospital will provide a modern facility in a preferred bayside location which limits commute time and enables an excellent lifestyle with local schooling facilities that reward dedication and commitment. Leasing and strata title options will be available to cater for the various stages of career progression.

Access and support for research and development on site will enable professional advancement and to maintain connections with the broader medical and academic community within Australia and overseas. Projections for future population growth and local specialist need ensure a successful local career with opportunity for future expansion.

Aged care

Aged care

Recent developments have highlighted a dramatic difference between the level of care we expect for our elderly citizens and that which is provided. Aging members of the community can continue to live a complete and rewarding life close to family and friends and have medical support available on site 24 hours a day.

A local community hub and child care facility within the Hub68 Precinct will allow residents to maintain a sense of connection with family and the broader community and will make a seamless transition from previous living arrangements.

Assisted living

Hub68 Aged Care Facility will be one of Australia’s first purpose-built aged care facility to incorporate all current recommendations for quality, comfortable and compassionate aged care.

Assisted living

Those requiring extra living assistance have traditionally had limited options available to them. Sometimes aged care accommodation was all that was available but provided a less than ideal solution. With the advent of the NDIS there has been much interest in other models of care for various levels of disability in younger age groups.

New models of care for these individuals and families will be explored and incorporated into Hub68 to ensure that medical assistance can be provided across the lifespan and to help people deal positively with any life challenges.

Research facilities

A medical research facility is planned for the Hub68 precinct.

It will support the research goals of our local specialists as well as attract sponsorship from local and multinational companies. Already, local and international research groups have expressed interest in this facility with novel and exciting avenues of exploration as diverse as medicinal cannabis and anti-ageing research.

We anticipate the Cleveland Private Hospital will be at the forefront of research into anti-aging technology. A previously unavailable option will be realised for local innovation and the facility will provide a genuine local option for career progression and professional stimulation for local scientists, doctors and students.

Research facilities

Community Hub

Various local support services will be based onsite at Hub68. Space for this will be provided at low- to no-cost to support local volunteers and not for profit services.

The Hub68 foundation will provide buses for transport to and from Hub68 as well as other local hospitals and medical facilities. Eventually, a transport service will be offered to hospitals further afield in those uncommon instances in which that care cannot be provided locally.

Facilities will also be provided for community groups to encourage social engagement and sense of belonging for everyone but especially those with particular mental and/or physical requirements to prevent social isolation. Restaurants, cafes and some retail facilities will provide a vibrant backdrop for all of these Community Hub activities and ensure overlap and interaction with the broader community.

Hub68

HUB 68 is an existing collection of primary, allied health, specialist consulting and supporting radiology and pharmacy health businesses. HUB68 will continue to operate as the Cleveland private hospital is constructed, with the site eventually sequentially developed to provide new and expanded health facilities for all businesses, along with aged care, residential development and supporting retail amenity.
